Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah
The false prophet, as he is called by the Targum, Syriac, and Arabic versions: in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people
that stood in the house of the Lord;
waiting and worshipping in the temple; and said boldly and before them all, in answer to Hananiah's prophecy, what follows.

3 二 年 之 內 ， 我 要 將 巴 比 倫 王 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 從 這 地 掠 到 巴 比 倫 的 器 皿 ， 就 是 耶 和 華 殿 中 的 一 切 器 皿 都 帶 回 此 地 。

4 我 又 要 將 猶 大 王 約 雅 敬 的 兒 子 耶 哥 尼 雅 和 被 擄 到 巴 比 倫 去 的 一 切 猶 大 人 帶 回 此 地 ， 因 為 我 要 折 斷 巴 比 倫 王 的 軛 。 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。

6 阿 們 ！ 願 耶 和 華 如 此 行 ， 願 耶 和 華 成 就 你 所 預 言 的 話 ， 將 耶 和 華 殿 中 的 器 皿 和 一 切 被 擄 去 的 人 從 巴 比 倫 帶 回 此 地 。

7 然 而 我 向 你 和 眾 民 耳 中 所 要 說 的 話 ， 你 應 當 聽 。
