Jeremiah 51:28

Prepare against her the nations, with the kings of the Medes,
&c.] At the head of them, Darius and Cyrus. The Syriac version has it in the singular number, the king of the Modes: the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of
his dominions;
that is, the inhabitants of it, the common people, with their princes, nobles, governors, as captains of them, under Cyrus, their generalissimo.

30 巴 比 倫 的 勇 士 止 息 爭 戰 ， 藏 在 堅 壘 之 中 。 他 們 的 勇 力 衰 盡 ， 好 像 婦 女 一 樣 。 巴 比 倫 的 住 處 有 火 著 起 ， 門 閂 都 折 斷 了 。
