Ezekiel 20:20

And hallow my sabbaths
Or keep them holy, by abstaining from worldly business on them; by observing all the duties of religion, private and public, to be performed on such days: and they shall be a sign between me and you;
of present and future good; (See Gill on Ezekiel 20:12); that ye may know that I [am] the Lord your God;
not only acknowledge him to be the Lord their God, by observing his laws, and sanctifying his sabbaths; but also have a larger experience of his grace and goodness, as their covenant God.

18 我 在 曠 野 對 他 們 的 兒 女 說 ： 不 要 遵 行 你 們 父 親 的 律 例 ， 不 要 謹 守 他 們 的 惡 規 ， 也 不 要 因 他 們 的 偶 像 玷 污 自 己 。

19 我 是 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 的 　 神 ， 你 們 要 順 從 我 的 律 例 ， 謹 守 遵 行 我 的 典 章 ，

20 且 以 我 的 安 息 日 為 聖 。 這 日 在 我 與 你 們 中 間 為 證 據 ， 使 你 們 知 道 我 是 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 的 　 神 。

21 只 是 他 們 的 兒 女 悖 逆 我 ， 不 順 從 我 的 律 例 ， 也 不 謹 守 遵 行 我 的 典 章 （ 人 若 遵 行 就 必 因 此 活 著 ） ， 干 犯 我 的 安 息 日 。 我 就 說 ， 要 將 我 的 忿 怒 傾 在 他 們 身 上 ， 在 曠 野 向 他 們 成 就 我 怒 中 所 定 的 。

22 雖 然 如 此 ， 我 卻 為 我 名 的 緣 故 縮 手 沒 有 這 樣 行 ， 免 得 我 的 名 在 我 領 他 們 出 埃 及 的 列 國 人 眼 前 被 褻 瀆 。
