5 Tāmen huídá shuō , zaì Yóutaì de Bólìhéng . yīnwei yǒu xiānzhī jì zhe shuō ,

Matthew 2:5

And they said unto him
They answer without any hesitation, it being a generally received notion, and a thing well known among them,

in Bethlehem of Judea;
and give their reason for it; for

thus it is written by the prophet,
that is, the prophet Micah, in whose prophecy, ( Micah 5:2 ) it stands, and is as follows:

4 Tā jiù zhào jì le Jìsīzhǎng hé mínjiān de Wénshì , wèn tāmen shuō , Jīdū dāng shēng zaì héchu .

5 Tāmen huídá shuō , zaì Yóutaì de Bólìhéng . yīnwei yǒu xiānzhī jì zhe shuō ,

6 Yóudà dì de Bólìhéng a , nǐ zaì Yóudà zhū chéng zhōng , bìng bú shì zuì xiǎo de . yīnwei jiānglái yǒu yī wèi jūnwáng , yào cóng nǐ nàli chūlai , mù yǎng wǒ Yǐsèliè mín .

7 Dāngxià Xīlǜ ànàn de zhào le bóshì lái , xì wèn nà xīng shì shénme shíhou chūxiàn de .
