9 Wǒ yòu shuō , nǐmen suǒ xíng de bú shàn . nǐmen xíngshì bùdàng jìngwèi wǒmen de shén ma . bù rán , nánmiǎn wǒmen de chóudí waìbāngrén huǐbàng wǒmen .

Nehemiah 5:9

Also I said, it is not good that ye do
The meaning is, that it was very bad; it is a "meiosis", by which more is intended than is expressed:

ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God;
in reverence of him and his law, and according to that:

because of the reproach of the Heathen our enemies?
whose mouths will be open to reproach the true religion, and the good ways of God; and say, these are the men that pretend to fear God, and serve him, and yet break his law, and use their brethren ill, see ( Romans 2:24 ) .

7 Wǒ xīnli chóu huá , jiù chìzé guìzhòu hé guān zhǎng shuō , nǐmen gèrén xiàng dìxiōng qǔ lì . yúshì wǒ zhāo jù dà huì gōngjī tāmen .

8 Wǒ duì tāmen shuō , wǒmen jìnlì shú huí wǒmen dìxiōng , jiù shì maì yǔ waì bāng de Yóudà rén . nǐmen háiyào maì dìxiōng , wǒmen shú huí lái ma . tāmen jiù jìngmò bù yǔ , wú huà kĕ dá .

10 Wǒ hé wǒde dìxiōng yǔ púrén , yĕ jiāng yínqián liángshi jiè gĕi bǎixìng . wǒmen dàjiā dōu dāng miǎn qù lì xī .

11 Rújīn wǒ quàn nǐmen jiāng tāmende tiándì , pútaóyuán , gǎnlǎn yuán , fángwū , bìng xiàng tāmen suǒ qǔ de yínqián , liángshi , xīn jiǔ , hé yóu , bǎi fēn ...zhīyī de lì xī dōu guī huán tāmen .
