Deuteronomy 10:19

Love ye therefore the stranger
Because the Lord loves him; and another reason follows, particularly binding on the Israelites:

for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt;
and therefore should sympathize with such, and show them compassion, relieve them in distress, and afford them whatever they want, and is in the power of their hands to communicate to them; remembering their own condition in Egypt, and how welcome such a treatment would have been to them then, as well as the kind and careful providence of God towards them at that time.

17 Yīnwei Yēhéhuá nǐmen de shén tā shì wàn shén zhī shén , wàn zhǔ zhī zhǔ , zhì dà de shén , dà yǒu nénglì , dà ér kè wèi , bú yǐ mào qǔ rén , yĕ bú shòu huìlù .

18 Tā wéi gūér guǎfu shēnyuān , yòu lián aì jìjū de , cìgĕi tā yì shí .

20 Nǐ yào jìngwèi Yēhéhuá nǐde shén , shìfèng tā , zhuān kào tā , yĕ yào zhǐ zhe tāde míng qǐshì .

21 Tā shì nǐ suǒ zànmĕi de , shì nǐde shén , wéi nǐ zuò le nà dà ér kè wèi de shì , shì nǐ qīnyǎn suǒ kànjian de .
