3 Hòu fú ruò hèn è tā , xiĕ xiū shū jiāo zaì tā shǒu zhōng , dǎfa tā líkāi fú jia , huò shì qǔ tā wéi qì de hòu fú sǐ le ,

Shēnméngjì 24:3 Meaning and Commentary

Deuteronomy 24:3

And [if] the latter husband hate her
Or less loves her than another woman, and she is disliked by him as she was by her former husband;

and write her a bill off divorcement, and giveth [it] into her hand,
and sendeth her out of his house:
as he had by this law a permission, in like manner as her former husband had; (See Gill on Deuteronomy 24:1);

or if her latter husband die, which took her [to be] his wife;
and she survives him; as she is then by death loosed from the law of an husband, she may lawfully marry another man, but not her former husband, as follows.

1 Rén ruò qǔ qì yǐhòu , jiàn tā yǒu shénme bú hélǐ de shì , bú xǐyuè tā , jiù kĕyǐ xiĕ xiū shū jiāo zaì tā shǒu zhōng , dǎfa tā líkāi fú jia .

2 Fùrén líkāi fú jia yǐhòu , kĕyǐ qù jià biérén .

3 Hòu fú ruò hèn è tā , xiĕ xiū shū jiāo zaì tā shǒu zhōng , dǎfa tā líkāi fú jia , huò shì qǔ tā wéi qì de hòu fú sǐ le ,

4 Dǎfa tā qù de qián fú bùkĕ zaì fùrén diànwū zhī hòu zaì qǔ tā wéi qì , yīnwei zhè shì Yēhéhuá suǒ zēngwù de . bùkĕ shǐ Yēhéhuá nǐ shén suǒ cì wéi yè zhī dì beì diànwū le .

5 Xīn qǔ qì zhī rén bùkĕ cóng jūn chū zhēng , yĕ bùkĕ tuō tā bànlǐ shénme gōng shì , kĕyǐ zaì jia qīng xián yī nián , shǐ tā suǒ qǔ de qì kuaì huó .
