Jeremiah 36:27

Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah
In the place where he was hid; the Lord knew where he was, for he hid him, and therefore could send his word to him: after the king had burnt the roll;
either with his own hands, or had ordered it to be burnt, or connived at the burning of it: and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah;
hence the Jews ^F21 gather, that when a man sees the book of the law burnt, that he is bound to rend his garments twice; once for the burning of the paper or parchment, and again for the burning of the writing; but no other is meant than the roll, in which the prophecies were written, Baruch took from the mouth of Jeremiah: saying;

26 Wáng jiù fēnfu hā mǐ lēi de érzi ( huò zuò wáng de érzi ) Yēlā miè hé yà sī liè de érzi Xīláiyǎ , bìng Yàbó dié de érzi Shìlìmǐyǎ , qù zhuōná Wénshì Bālù hé xiānzhī Yēlìmǐ . Yēhéhuá què jiāng tāmen yǐncáng .

27 Wáng shāo le shū juǎn . qí shang yǒu Bālù cóng Yēlìmǐ kǒu zhōng suǒ xiĕ de huà . yǐhòu Yēhéhuá de huà líndào Yēlìmǐ shuō ,

28 Nǐ zaì qǔ yī juǎn , jiāng Yóudà wáng yuē yǎ jìng suǒ shāo dì yī juǎn shang de yīqiè huà xiĕ zaì qí shang .

29 Lún dào Yóudà wáng yuē yǎ jìng nǐ yào shuō , Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , nǐ shāo le shū juǎn , shuō , nǐ wèishénme zaì qí shang xiĕ zhe , shuō Bābǐlún wáng bìyào lái huǐmiè zhè dì , shǐ zhè dì shang jué le rénmín shēngchù ne .
