5 Wǒ yào qù jiàn zūn dà de rén , duì tāmen shuōhuà , yīnwei tāmen xiǎodé Yēhéhuá de zuòwéi hé tāmen shén de fǎ zé . nǎ zhī , zhèxie rén qíxīn jiāng è zhé duàn , zhēng kāi shéng suǒ .

Jeremiah 5:5

I will get me unto the great men, and speak unto them
The princes, nobles, and judges, the elders of the people, the scribes and doctors of the law: for they have known the way of the Lord, and the judgment of their God;
it might be reasonably expected that they had, having had a good education, and being at leisure from worldly business to attend to the law, and the knowledge of it, and whatsoever God had revealed in his word, both in a way of doctrine and duty: but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds;
the yoke of the law, and the bonds of his precepts, with which they were bound; these they broke off from them, and would not be obliged and restrained by them, but transgressed and rejected them.

3 Yēhéhuá a , nǐde yǎnmù bú shì kàn gù chéngshí ma . nǐ jī dá tāmen , tāmen què bù shāng tòng . nǐ huǐmiè tāmen , tāmen réng bù shòu chéng zhì . tāmen shǐ liǎn gāng yìng guòyú pánshí , bù kĕn huí tóu .

4 Wǒ shuō , zhèxie rén shízaì shì pínqióng de , shì yúmeì de , yīnwei bù xiǎodé Yēhéhuá de zuòwéi hé tāmen shén de fǎ zé .

5 Wǒ yào qù jiàn zūn dà de rén , duì tāmen shuōhuà , yīnwei tāmen xiǎodé Yēhéhuá de zuòwéi hé tāmen shén de fǎ zé . nǎ zhī , zhèxie rén qíxīn jiāng è zhé duàn , zhēng kāi shéng suǒ .

6 Yīncǐ , lín zhōng de shīzi bì haì sǐ tāmen . wǎnshang ( huò zuò yĕdì ) de chái láng bì mièjué tāmen . bào zǐ yào zaì chéng waì kuī sì tāmen . fán chū chéng de bì beì sī suì . yīnwei tāmende zuì guo jí duō , bēi dào de shì yĕ jiā zēng le .

7 Wǒ zĕn néng shèmiǎn nǐ ne . nǐde érnǚ lí qì wǒ , yòu zhǐ zhe nà bú shì shén de qǐshì . wǒ shǐ tāmen bǎozú , tāmen jiù xíng jiānyín , chéngqún dì jùjí zaì chāngjì jiā lǐ .
