Isaiah 38:2

Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall
Not figuratively to the wall of his heart, as Jerom; but literally, either to the wall of his bedchamber where he lay sick, that his tears might not be seen, and his prayers interrupted, and that he might deliver them with more privacy, freedom, and fervency; or else to the wall of the temple, as the Targum, towards which good men used to look when they prayed, ( 1 Kings 8:38 ) ( Daniel 6:10 ) , which was a type of Christ, to whom we should have respect in all our petitions, as being the only Mediator between God and man: and prayed unto the Lord; as follows:

1 Nàshí Xīxījiā bìng dé yào sǐ , yà mó sī de érzi xiānzhī Yǐsaìyà qù jiàn tā , duì tā shuō , Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , nǐ dāng liú yí méng yǔ nǐde jiā , yīnwei nǐ bì sǐ bùnéng huó le .

2 Xīxījiā jiù zhuǎn liǎn zhāo qiáng , dǎogào Yēhéhuá shuō ,

3 Yēhéhuá a , qiú nǐ jìniàn wǒ zaì nǐ miànqián zĕnyàng cún wánquán de xīn , àn chéngshí xíngshì , yòu zuò nǐ yǎn zhōng suǒ kàn wéi shàn de . Xīxījiā jiù tòngkū le .

4 Yēhéhuá de huà líndào Yǐsaìyà shuō ,

5 Nǐ qù gàosu Xīxījiā shuō , Yēhéhuá nǐ zǔ Dàwèi de shén rúcǐ shuō , wǒ tīngjian le nǐde dǎogào , kànjian le nǐde yǎnleì , wǒ Bìjiā zēng nǐ shí wǔ nián de shòushu .
