Ezekiel 22:22

As silver is melted in the furnace, so shall ye be melted in
the midst thereof
This is repeated for the greater confirmation of it; and the people might assure themselves that it would verily be, as was threatened: and ye shall know that I the Lord have poured out my fury upon you;
feel it upon them; be sensible of it, and acknowledge it; and that it is the Lord's doings, and righteously done; these are they who are meant by the silver, who, though cast into the furnace, were not destroyed, only purified, and made the better and brighter for their afflictions.

20 Rén zĕnyàng jiāng yín , tóng , tiĕ , qiā , xī jù zaì lú zhōng , chuī huǒ rónghuà . zhàoyàng , wǒ yĕ yào fānù qì hé fèn nù , jiāng nǐmen jùjí fàng zaì chéng zhōng , rónghuà nǐmen .

21 Wǒ bì jùjí nǐmen , bǎ wǒ liè nù de huǒ chuī zaì nǐmen shēnshang , nǐmen jiù zaì qízhōng rónghuà .

22 Yínzi zĕnyàng rónghuà zaì lú zhōng , nǐmen yĕ bì zhàoyàng rónghuà zaì chéng zhōng , nǐmen jiù zhīdào wǒ Yēhéhuá shì jiāng fèn nù dǎo zaì nǐmen shēnshang le .

23 Yēhéhuá de huà líndào wǒ shuō ,

24 Rénzǐ a , nǐ yào duì zhè dì shuō , nǐ shì wèi dé jiéjìng zhī dì , zaì nǎohèn de rìzi yĕ méiyǒu yǔ xià zaì nǐ yǐshàng .
