Genesis 43:1

And the famine [was] sore in the land.
] In the land of Canaan; it increased yet more and more: this is observed for the sake of what follows, showing the reason and necessity of Jacob's sons taking a second journey into Egypt.

1 那 地 的 饥 荒 甚 大 。

2 他 们 从 埃 及 带 来 的 粮 食 吃 尽 了 ， 他 们 的 父 亲 就 对 他 们 说 ： 『 你 们 再 去 给 我 籴 些 粮 来 。 』

3 犹 大 对 他 说 ： 『 那 人 谆 谆 地 告 诫 我 们 说 ： 「 你 们 的 兄 弟 若 不 与 你 们 同 来 ， 你 们 就 不 得 见 我 的 面 。 」

4 你 若 打 发 我 们 的 兄 弟 与 我 们 同 去 ， 我 们 就 下 去 给 你 籴 粮 ；

5 你 若 不 打 发 他 去 ， 我 们 就 不 下 去 ， 因 为 那 人 对 我 们 说 ： 「 你 们 的 兄 弟 若 不 与 你 们 同 来 ， 你 们 就 不 得 见 我 的 面 。 」 』
