25 他 们 就 预 备 那 礼 物 ， 等 候 约 瑟 晌 午 来 ， 因 为 他 们 听 见 要 在 那 里 吃 饭 。

Genesis 43:25

And they made ready the present against Joseph came at noon,
&c.] They took it out of their vessels or bags in which they brought it, having unladen their asses, and disposed of it in a proper manner to present it to him when he came home at noon to dine: for they heard that they should eat bread there;
dine there, bread being put for all provision: this was told them, very probably, by the steward, or by some of the servants in the house, or they overheard what Joseph said to the steward, ( Genesis 43:16 ) .

26 约 瑟 来 到 家 里 ， 他 们 就 把 手 中 的 礼 物 拿 进 屋 去 给 他 ， 又 俯 伏 在 地 ， 向 他 下 拜 。

27 约 瑟 问 他 们 好 ， 又 问 ： 『 你 们 的 父 亲 ─ 就 是 你 们 所 说 的 那 老 人 家 平 安 吗 ？ 他 还 在 吗 ？ 』
