Daniel 4:10

Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed
So things appeared to my fancy thus; they ran in my head or brain in a dream in my bed, as if I saw them with my eyes, as follows; for so I thought, I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth;
an emblem of a powerful prince well settled, and strongly supported in his power and government; so the Assyrian monarch, ( Ezekiel 31:3-9 ) and here Nebuchadnezzar himself, as it is afterwards explained; who was well established in his monarchy, the metropolis of which was Babylon; and which stood pretty much in the midst of the then known world: and the height thereof was great;
taller than trees in common; denoting the superiority of the Babylonian monarch over all kings and kingdoms of the earth.

8 末 後 那 照 我 神 的 名 ， 称 为 伯 提 沙 撒 的 但 以 理 来 到 我 面 前 ， 他 里 头 有 圣 神 的 灵 ， 我 将 梦 告 诉 他 说 ：

9 术 士 的 领 袖 伯 提 沙 撒 啊 ， 因 我 知 道 你 里 头 有 圣 神 的 灵 ， 甚 麽 奥 秘 的 事 都 不 能 使 你 为 难 。 现 在 要 把 我 梦 中 所 见 的 异 象 和 梦 的 讲 解 告 诉 我 。

11 那 树 渐 长 ， 而 且 坚 固 ， 高 得 顶 天 ， 从 地 极 都 能 看 见 ，

12 叶 子 华 美 ， 果 子 甚 多 ， 可 作 众 生 的 食 物 ； 田 野 的 走 兽 卧 在 荫 下 ， 天 空 的 飞 鸟 宿 在 枝 上 ； 凡 有 血 气 的 都 从 这 树 得 食 。
