And they went to the entrance of Gedor
There was a city of this name in the tribe of Judah, ( 1 Chronicles 4:18 ) but this seems to be further off, and perhaps is the same with Gedaris, mentioned by Strabo

41 以 上 录 名 的 人 ， 在 犹 大 王 希 西 家 年 间 ， 来 攻 击 含 族 人 的 帐 棚 和 那 里 所 有 的 米 乌 尼 人 ， 将 他 们 灭 尽 ， 就 住 在 他 们 的 地 方 ， 直 到 今 日 ， 因 为 那 里 有 草 场 可 以 牧 放 羊 群 。
