14 你 若 效 法 你 父 亲 大 卫 ， 遵 行 我 的 道 ， 谨 守 我 的 律 例 、 诫 命 ， 我 必 使 你 长 寿 。

1 Kings 3:14

And if thou wilt walk in my ways
Prescribed and directed to in his word, to keep my statutes and my commandments;
ceremonial, moral, and judicial: as thy father David did walk;
which Solomon himself had observed, ( 1 Kings 3:6 ) ; and whose walk was worthy of his imitation: then I will lengthen thy days;
the other promises of riches and honour are absolute, but this of long life conditional, depending upon his holy walk and conversation; and hence, because he failed in this the Jews observe he did not attain to long life, dying, as they suppose, at fifty two years of age; which is grounded on a wrong hypothesis, that he was but twelve years of age when he he began to reign, and he reigned forty years, as before observed.

12 我 就 应 允 你 所 求 的 ， 赐 你 聪 明 智 慧 ， 甚 至 在 你 以 前 没 有 像 你 的 ， 在 你 以 後 也 没 有 像 你 的 。

13 你 所 没 有 求 的 ， 我 也 赐 给 你 ， 就 是 富 足 、 尊 荣 ， 使 你 在 世 的 日 子 ， 列 王 中 没 有 一 个 能 比 你 的 。

15 所 罗 门 醒 了 ， 不 料 是 个 梦 。 他 就 回 到 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 站 在 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 前 ， 献 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 ， 又 为 他 众 臣 仆 设 摆 筵 席 。

16 一 日 ， 有 两 个 妓 女 来 ， 站 在 王 面 前 。
