2 Kings 10:27

And they broke down the temple of Baal
Which some take to be Belus, others Saturn, others the sun, which seems most probable:

and broke down the house of Baal;
his temple, demolished it:

and made it a draught house until this day;
a common sewer, a jakes; a fit place for dunghill gods to be thrown into, and an idol temple to be turned into.

25 耶 户 献 完 了 燔 祭 ， 就 出 来 吩 咐 护 卫 兵 和 众 军 长 说 ： 你 们 进 去 杀 他 们 ， 不 容 一 人 出 来 ！ 护 卫 兵 和 军 长 就 用 刀 杀 他 们 ， 将 尸 首 抛 出 去 ， 便 到 巴 力 庙 的 城 去 了 ，

26 将 巴 力 庙 中 的 柱 像 都 拿 出 来 烧 了 ；

27 毁 坏 了 巴 力 柱 像 ， 拆 毁 了 巴 力 庙 作 为 厕 所 ， 直 到 今 日 。

28 这 样 ， 耶 户 在 以 色 列 中 灭 了 巴 力 。

29 只 是 耶 户 不 离 开 尼 八 的 儿 子 耶 罗 波 安 使 以 色 列 人 陷 在 罪 里 的 那 罪 ， 就 是 拜 伯 特 利 和 但 的 金 牛 犊 。
