14 王 就 打 发 车 马 和 大 军 往 那 里 去 ， 夜 间 到 了 ， 围 困 那 城 。

2 Kings 6:14

Therefore sent he thither horses and chariots, and a great
host
To terrify the inhabitants from attempting to defend the prophet, but deliver him up at once:

and they came by night;
that they might come upon them unawares, and their design not be discovered, so as to have timely help from Samaria, which was not far off:

and compassed the city about;
that the prophet might not make his escape out of it.

12 有 一 个 臣 仆 说 ： 我 主 ， 我 王 ！ 无 人 帮 助 他 ， 只 有 以 色 列 中 的 先 知 以 利 沙 ， 将 王 在 卧 房 所 说 的 话 告 诉 以 色 列 王 了 。

13 王 说 ： 你 们 去 探 他 在 哪 里 ， 我 好 打 发 人 去 捉 拿 他 。 有 人 告 诉 王 说 ： 他 在 多 坍 。

14 王 就 打 发 车 马 和 大 军 往 那 里 去 ， 夜 间 到 了 ， 围 困 那 城 。

15 　 神 人 的 仆 人 清 早 起 来 出 去 ， 看 见 车 马 军 兵 围 困 了 城 。 仆 人 对 神 人 说 ： 哀 哉 ！ 我 主 啊 ， 我 们 怎 样 行 才 好 呢 ？

16 神 人 说 ： 不 要 惧 怕 ！ 与 我 们 同 在 的 比 与 他 们 同 在 的 更 多 。
