24 此 後 ， 亚 兰 王 便 哈 达 聚 集 他 的 全 军 ， 上 来 围 困 撒 玛 利 亚 。

2 Kings 6:24

And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria
gathered all his host
Still retaining a grudge and enmity against Israel, and not at all softened by the kind and humane treatment his forces had met with, when in the hands of Israel; and finding he could do nothing in a secret way, by ambush, mustered all his forces together, to try what he could by open war:

and went up, and besieged Samaria;
Jehoram king of Israel not being able to stop him till he came to his capital, which he laid close siege to.

22 回 答 说 ： 不 可 击 杀 他 们 ！ 就 是 你 用 刀 用 弓 掳 来 的 ， 岂 可 击 杀 他 们 麽 ( 或 作 也 不 可 击 杀 ， 何 况 这 些 人 呢 ) ？ 当 在 他 们 面 前 设 摆 饮 食 ， 使 他 们 吃 喝 回 到 他 们 的 主 人 那 里 。

23 王 就 为 他 们 预 备 了 许 多 食 物 ； 他 们 吃 喝 完 了 ， 打 发 他 们 回 到 他 们 主 人 那 里 。 从 此 ， 亚 兰 军 不 再 犯 以 色 列 境 了 。

24 此 後 ， 亚 兰 王 便 哈 达 聚 集 他 的 全 军 ， 上 来 围 困 撒 玛 利 亚 。

25 於 是 撒 玛 利 亚 被 围 困 ， 有 饥 荒 ， 甚 至 一 个 驴 头 值 银 八 十 舍 客 勒 ， 二 升 鸽 子 粪 值 银 五 舍 客 勒 。

26 一 日 ， 以 色 列 王 在 城 上 经 过 ， 有 一 个 妇 人 向 他 呼 叫 说 ： 我 主 ， 我 王 啊 ！ 求 你 帮 助 。
