43 你 们 不 可 因 甚 麽 爬 物 使 自 己 成 为 可 憎 的 ， 也 不 可 因 这 些 使 自 己 不 洁 净 ， 以 致 染 了 污 秽 。

Leviticus 11:43

Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping
thing that creepeth
With any creeping thing that flies in the air, excepting the four sorts of locusts, ( Leviticus 11:22 ) and with any creeping thing in the waters, ( Leviticus 11:10 ) or with anything that creeps on the land, by eating any of them; which being abominable for food, would make the eater of them so to God, he thereby breaking a command of his:

neither shall you make yourselves unclean with them;
by touching and bearing them, as with dead beasts, so with dead flies and the like:

that ye should be defiled thereby;
in a ceremonial sense.

41 凡 地 上 的 爬 物 是 可 憎 的 ， 都 不 可 吃 。

42 凡 用 肚 子 行 走 的 和 用 四 足 行 走 的 ， 或 是 有 许 多 足 的 ， 就 是 一 切 爬 在 地 上 的 ， 你 们 都 不 可 吃 ， 因 为 是 可 憎 的 。

43 你 们 不 可 因 甚 麽 爬 物 使 自 己 成 为 可 憎 的 ， 也 不 可 因 这 些 使 自 己 不 洁 净 ， 以 致 染 了 污 秽 。

44 我 是 耶 和 华 ─ 你 们 的 　 神 ； 所 以 你 们 要 成 为 圣 洁 ， 因 为 我 是 圣 洁 的 。 你 们 也 不 可 在 地 上 的 爬 物 污 秽 自 己 。

45 我 是 把 你 们 从 埃 及 地 领 出 来 的 耶 和 华 ， 要 作 你 们 的 　 神 ； 所 以 你 们 要 圣 洁 ， 因 为 我 是 圣 洁 的 。
