38 马 利 亚 说 ： 我 是 主 的 使 女 ， 情 愿 照 你 的 话 成 就 在 我 身 上 。 天 使 就 离 开 他 去 了 。

Luke 1:38

And Mary said, behold the handmaid of the Lord,
&c.] In which words she expresses her obedience of faith; she owns herself to be the handmaid of the Lord, and desires to obey him, and be submissive to him as such; and tacitly acknowledges her meanness, and great unworthiness:

be it unto me according to thy word;
she assented to what the angel said should be unto her; she earnestly desired it might be, and firmly believed it would be; she set her "Amen" to the angel's message:

and the angel departed from her;
to the heavenly regions from whence he came; to his great Lord and master, that sent him; having dispatched the business he came about, and which he was accountable to him for.

36 况 且 你 的 亲 戚 以 利 沙 伯 ， 在 年 老 的 时 候 也 怀 了 男 胎 ， 就 是 那 素 来 称 为 不 生 育 的 ， 现 在 有 孕 六 个 月 了 。

37 因 为 ， 出 於 神 的 话 ， 没 有 一 句 不 带 能 力 的 。

38 马 利 亚 说 ： 我 是 主 的 使 女 ， 情 愿 照 你 的 话 成 就 在 我 身 上 。 天 使 就 离 开 他 去 了 。

39 那 时 候 ， 马 利 亚 起 身 ， 急 忙 往 山 地 里 去 ， 来 到 犹 大 的 一 座 城 ；

40 进 了 撒 迦 利 亚 的 家 ， 问 以 利 沙 伯 安 。
