34 将 他 收 在 监 内 ； 因 为 当 怎 样 办 他 ， 还 没 有 指 明 。

Numbers 15:34

And they put him in ward
In a certain prison in the camp; perhaps the same in which the blasphemer was put, ( Leviticus 24:12 ) ; and for much the same reason:

because it was not declared what should be done to him:
that is, what kind of death he should die, as Jarchi and Aben Ezra; it had been before declared that the sabbath breaker should die, but not what death he should die, ( Exodus 31:15 ) ( 35:2 ) ; though some think it was a matter of doubt whether gathering of sticks was a breach of the sabbath, or at least such a breach of it as required death; and the answer of the Lord seems to confirm this sense, as follows.

32 以 色 列 人 在 旷 野 的 时 候 ， 遇 见 一 个 人 在 安 息 日 捡 柴 。

33 遇 见 他 捡 柴 的 人 ， 就 把 他 带 到 摩 西 、 亚 伦 并 全 会 众 那 里 ，

34 将 他 收 在 监 内 ； 因 为 当 怎 样 办 他 ， 还 没 有 指 明 。

35 耶 和 华 吩 咐 摩 西 说 ： 总 要 把 那 人 治 死 ； 全 会 众 要 在 营 外 用 石 头 把 他 打 死 。

36 於 是 全 会 众 将 他 带 到 营 外 ， 用 石 头 打 死 他 ， 是 照 耶 和 华 所 吩 咐 摩 西 的 。
