Deuteronomy 13:10

And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die
It was not sufficient to answer the end of the law to cast a few stones at him, but he was to be stoned to death:

because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God;
to compel by force of argument, or the dint of persuasion, to relinquish the profession of the true God, faith in him, and the worship of him:

which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;
which aggravated the sin of the enticer, and would have made the sin of the enticed the more heinous had he fallen into it.

8 你 不 可 依 从 他 ， 也 不 可 听 从 他 ， 眼 不 可 顾 惜 他 。 你 不 可 怜 恤 他 ， 也 不 可 遮 庇 他 ，

9 总 要 杀 他 ； 你 先 下 手 ， 然 後 众 民 也 下 手 ， 将 他 治 死 。

10 要 用 石 头 打 死 他 ， 因 为 他 想 要 勾 引 你 离 开 那 领 你 出 埃 及 地 为 奴 之 家 的 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 　 神 。

11 以 色 列 众 人 都 要 听 见 害 怕 ， 就 不 敢 在 你 们 中 间 再 行 这 样 的 恶 了 。

12 在 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 所 赐 你 居 住 的 各 城 中 ， 你 若 听 人 说 ， 有 些 匪 类 从 你 们 中 间 的 一 座 城 出 来 勾 引 本 城 的 居 民 ， 说 ： 我 们 不 如 去 事 奉 你 们 素 来 所 不 认 识 的 别 　 神 ；
