Deuteronomy 28:14

And thou shall not go aside from any of the words which I
command thee this day
Depart from them as a rule to walk by, turn out from them as a path to walk in, neglect and disobey them, and go into practices contrary to them: turning [to] the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve
them;
which to do was to break the first and principal table of the law, than which nothing was more abominable and provoking to God.

12 耶 和 华 必 为 你 开 天 上 的 府 库 ， 按 时 降 雨 在 你 的 地 上 。 在 你 手 里 所 办 的 一 切 事 上 赐 福 与 你 。 你 必 借 给 许 多 国 民 ， 却 不 至 向 他 们 借 贷 。

13 你 若 听 从 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 的 诫 命 ， 就 是 我 今 日 所 吩 咐 你 的 ， 谨 守 遵 行 ， 不 偏 左 右 ， 也 不 随 从 事 奉 别 神 ， 耶 和 华 就 必 使 你 作 首 不 作 尾 ， 但 居 上 不 居 下 。

15 你 若 不 听 从 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 的 话 ， 不 谨 守 遵 行 他 的 一 切 诫 命 律 例 ， 就 是 我 今 日 所 吩 咐 你 的 ， 这 以 下 的 咒 诅 都 必 追 随 你 ， 临 到 你 身 上 ：

16 你 在 城 里 必 受 咒 诅 ， 在 田 间 也 必 受 咒 诅 。
