22 我 只 得 死 在 这 地 ， 不 能 过 约 但 河 ； 但 你 们 必 过 去 得 那 美 地 。

Deuteronomy 4:22

But I must die in this land
The land of Moab, in a mountain in it he died, and in a valley there he was buried, ( Deuteronomy 32:50 ) ( Deuteronomy 34:5 Deuteronomy 34:6 ) ,

I must not go over Jordan;
this he repeats, as lying near his heart; he had earnestly solicited to go over, but was denied it:

but ye shall go over, and possess that good land;
this he firmly believed and assures them of, relying on the promise and faithfulness of God.

20 耶 和 华 将 你 们 从 埃 及 领 出 来 ， 脱 离 铁 炉 ， 要 特 作 自 己 产 业 的 子 民 ， 像 今 日 一 样 。

21 耶 和 华 又 因 你 们 的 缘 故 向 我 发 怒 ， 起 誓 必 不 容 我 过 约 但 河 ， 也 不 容 我 进 入 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 所 赐 你 为 业 的 那 美 地 。

22 我 只 得 死 在 这 地 ， 不 能 过 约 但 河 ； 但 你 们 必 过 去 得 那 美 地 。

23 你 们 要 谨 慎 ， 免 得 忘 记 耶 和 华 ─ 你 们 　 神 与 你 们 所 立 的 约 ， 为 自 己 雕 刻 偶 像 ， 就 是 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 所 禁 止 你 做 的 偶 像 ；

24 因 为 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 　 神 乃 是 烈 火 ， 是 忌 邪 的 　 神 。
