32 你 且 考 察 在 你 以 前 的 世 代 ， 自 　 神 造 人 在 世 以 来 ， 从 天 这 边 到 天 那 边 ， 曾 有 何 民 听 见 　 神 在 火 中 说 话 的 声 音 ， 像 你 听 见 还 能 存 活 呢 ？

Deuteronomy 4:32

For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee,
&c.] Inquire into and consult the annals of former times, of ages past:

since the day that God created man upon the earth;
trace them quite up to the creation of the world, and men in it:

and [ask] from the one side of heaven to the other;
traverse the whole globe, and examine the records of every nation in it in both hemispheres:

whether there hath been any such [thing] as this great thing is, or
hath been heard like it?
whether they can give any account of anything seen, heard, or done like what follows; suggesting that they cannot furnish out an instance to be mentioned with it.

30 日 後 你 遭 遇 一 切 患 难 的 时 候 ， 你 必 归 回 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 　 神 ， 听 从 他 的 话 。

31 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 原 是 有 怜 悯 的 　 神 ； 他 总 不 撇 下 你 ， 不 灭 绝 你 ， 也 不 忘 记 他 起 誓 与 你 列 祖 所 立 的 约 。

33 这 样 的 大 事 何 曾 有 、 何 曾 听 见 呢 ？

34 　 神 何 曾 从 别 的 国 中 将 一 国 的 人 民 领 出 来 ， 用 试 验 、 神 迹 、 奇 事 、 争 战 、 大 能 的 手 ， 和 伸 出 来 的 膀 臂 ， 并 大 可 畏 的 事 ， 像 耶 和 华 ─ 你 们 的 　 神 在 埃 及 ， 在 你 们 眼 前 为 你 们 所 行 的 一 切 事 呢 ？
