17 你 若 心 里 说 ， 这 些 国 的 民 比 我 更 多 ， 我 怎 能 赶 出 他 们 呢 ？

Deuteronomy 7:17

If thou shall say in thine heart
Should have secret thoughts arise in the heart, misgivings of heart, fears and doubts there, which, though not outwardly expressed, might be inwardly retained:

these nations are more than I;
seven to one, and perhaps anyone of them as powerful as Israel:

how can I dispossess them?
of the land they inherit, and take possession of it.

15 耶 和 华 必 使 一 切 的 病 症 离 开 你 ； 你 所 知 道 埃 及 各 样 的 恶 疾 ， 他 不 加 在 你 身 上 ， 只 加 在 一 切 恨 你 的 人 身 上 。

16 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 所 要 交 给 你 的 一 切 人 民 ， 你 要 将 他 们 除 灭 ； 你 眼 不 可 顾 惜 他 们 。 你 也 不 可 事 奉 他 们 的 　 神 ， 因 这 必 成 为 你 的 网 罗 。

17 你 若 心 里 说 ， 这 些 国 的 民 比 我 更 多 ， 我 怎 能 赶 出 他 们 呢 ？

18 你 不 要 惧 怕 他 们 ， 要 牢 牢 记 念 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 向 法 老 和 埃 及 全 地 所 行 的 事 ，

19 就 是 你 亲 眼 所 看 见 的 大 试 验 、 神 迹 、 奇 事 ， 和 大 能 的 手 ， 并 伸 出 来 的 膀 臂 ， 都 是 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 领 你 出 来 所 用 的 。 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 必 照 样 待 你 所 惧 怕 的 一 切 人 民 。
