8 只 因 耶 和 华 爱 你 们 ， 又 因 要 守 他 向 你 们 列 祖 所 起 的 誓 ， 就 用 大 能 的 手 领 你 们 出 来 ， 从 为 奴 之 家 救 赎 你 们 脱 离 埃 及 王 法 老 的 手 。

Deuteronomy 7:8

But because the Lord loved you
With an unmerited love; he loved them, because he loved them; that is, because he would love them; his love was not owing to any goodness in them, or done by them, or any love in them to him, but to his own good will and pleasure:

and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your
fathers;
the promise he had made, confirmed by an oath:

hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand;
out of the land of Egypt:

and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen;
where they were bondmen to the Egyptians:

from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt;
who detained them, and refused to let them go.

6 因 为 你 归 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 为 圣 洁 的 民 ； 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 从 地 上 的 万 民 中 拣 选 你 ， 特 作 自 己 的 子 民 。

7 耶 和 华 专 爱 你 们 ， 拣 选 你 们 ， 并 非 因 你 们 的 人 数 多 於 别 民 ， 原 来 你 们 的 人 数 在 万 民 中 是 最 少 的 。

8 只 因 耶 和 华 爱 你 们 ， 又 因 要 守 他 向 你 们 列 祖 所 起 的 誓 ， 就 用 大 能 的 手 领 你 们 出 来 ， 从 为 奴 之 家 救 赎 你 们 脱 离 埃 及 王 法 老 的 手 。

9 所 以 ， 你 要 知 道 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 　 神 ， 他 是 　 神 ， 是 信 实 的 　 神 ； 向 爱 他 、 守 他 诫 命 的 人 守 约 ， 施 慈 爱 ， 直 到 千 代 ；

10 向 恨 他 的 人 当 面 报 应 他 们 ， 将 他 们 灭 绝 。 凡 恨 他 的 人 必 报 应 他 们 ， 决 不 迟 延 。
