62 又 说 ： 耶 和 华 啊 ， 你 曾 论 到 这 地 方 说 ： 要 剪 除 ， 甚 至 连 人 带 牲 畜 没 有 在 这 里 居 住 的 ， 必 永 远 荒 凉 。

Jeremiah 51:62

Then shall thou say, O Lord
Acknowledging this prophecy to be of God; believing the accomplishment of it; and praying over it, and for it, like a good man, as doubtless he was: thou hast spoken against this place;
the city of Babylon, where Seraiah is now supposed to be: to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but
that it shall be desolate for ever;
this is the substance of the whole prophecy, that the destruction of Babylon should be an utter and a perpetual one; and which is expressed in the same words that are here used, ( Jeremiah 50:3 Jeremiah 50:13 Jeremiah 50:26 Jeremiah 50:40 ) .

60 耶 利 米 将 一 切 要 临 到 巴 比 伦 的 灾 祸 ， 就 是 论 到 巴 比 伦 的 一 切 话 ， 写 在 书 上 。

61 耶 利 米 对 西 莱 雅 说 ： 你 到 了 巴 比 伦 务 要 念 这 书 上 的 话 ；

63 你 念 完 了 这 书 ， 就 把 一 块 石 头 拴 在 书 上 ， 扔 在 伯 拉 河 中 ，

64 说 ： 巴 比 伦 因 耶 和 华 所 要 降 与 他 的 灾 祸 ， 必 如 此 沉 下 去 ， 不 再 兴 起 ， 人 民 也 必 困 乏 。 耶 利 米 的 话 到 此 为 止 。
