16 凡 制 造 偶 像 的 都 必 抱 愧 蒙 羞 ， 都 要 一 同 归 於 惭 愧 。

Isaiah 45:16

They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them
This refers not to any persons spoken of before; not to Israel or the church, or converts among the Gentiles that came to her; but to those that follow, of whom the same is said in other words: they shall go to confusion together, that are makers of idols;
the Targum is,

``worshippers of images;''

both may be designed: this refers to the first times of the Gospel, and its coming into the Gentile world, and its success there; when the oracles of the Heathens were struck dumb; idols and idol temples were forsaken; and Paganism was abolished in the Roman empire; and when the gods they served could not help them, but they fled to the rocks to hide them from the wrath of God and the Lamb, ( Revelation 6:15-17 ) .

15 救 主 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 啊 ， 你 实 在 是 自 隐 的 神 。

16 凡 制 造 偶 像 的 都 必 抱 愧 蒙 羞 ， 都 要 一 同 归 於 惭 愧 。

17 惟 有 以 色 列 必 蒙 耶 和 华 的 拯 救 ， 得 永 远 的 救 恩 。 你 们 必 不 蒙 羞 ， 也 不 抱 愧 ， 直 到 永 世 无 尽 。

18 创 造 诸 天 的 耶 和 华 ， 制 造 成 全 大 地 的 　 神 ， 他 创 造 坚 定 大 地 ， 并 非 使 地 荒 凉 ， 是 要 给 人 居 住 。 他 如 此 说 ： 我 是 耶 和 华 ， 再 没 有 别 神 。
