以西结书 30

1 耶 和 华 的 话 又 临 到 我 说 ：

2 人 子 啊 ， 你 要 发 预 言 说 ， 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 哀 哉 这 日 ！ 你 们 应 当 哭 号 。

3 因 为 耶 和 华 的 日 子 临 近 ， 就 是 密 云 之 日 ， 列 国 受 罚 之 期 。

4 必 有 刀 剑 临 到 埃 及 ； 在 埃 及 被 杀 之 人 仆 倒 的 时 候 ， 古 实 人 就 有 痛 苦 ， 人 民 必 被 掳 掠 ， 基 址 必 被 拆 毁 。

5 古 实 人 、 弗 人 （ 或 译 ： 吕 彼 亚 ） 、 路 德 人 、 杂 族 的 人 民 ， 并 古 巴 人 ， 以 及 同 盟 之 地 的 人 都 要 与 埃 及 人 一 同 倒 在 刀 下 。

6 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 扶 助 埃 及 的 也 必 倾 倒 。 埃 及 因 势 力 而 有 的 骄 傲 必 降 低 微 ； 其 中 的 人 民 ， 从 色 弗 尼 塔 起 （ 见 二 十 九 章 十 节 ） 必 倒 在 刀 下 。 这 是 主 耶 和 华 说 的 。

7 埃 及 地 在 荒 凉 的 国 中 必 成 为 荒 凉 ； 埃 及 城 在 荒 废 的 城 中 也 变 为 荒 废 。

8 我 在 埃 及 中 使 火 着 起 ； 帮 助 埃 及 的 ， 都 被 灭 绝 。 那 时 ， 他 们 就 知 道 我 是 耶 和 华 。

9 到 那 日 ， 必 有 使 者 坐 船 ， 从 我 面 前 出 去 ， 使 安 逸 无 虑 的 古 实 人 惊 惧 ； 必 有 痛 苦 临 到 他 们 ， 好 像 埃 及 遭 灾 的 日 子 一 样 。 看 哪 ， 这 事 临 近 了 ！

10 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 我 必 藉 巴 比 伦 王 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 的 手 ， 除 灭 埃 及 众 人 。

11 他 和 随 从 他 的 人 ， 就 是 列 国 中 强 暴 的 ， 必 进 来 毁 灭 这 地 。 他 们 必 拔 刀 攻 击 埃 及 ， 使 遍 地 有 被 杀 的 人 。

12 我 必 使 江 河 乾 涸 ， 将 地 卖 在 恶 人 的 手 中 ； 我 必 藉 外 邦 人 的 手 ， 使 这 地 和 其 中 所 有 的 变 为 凄 凉 。 这 是 我 ─ 耶 和 华 说 的 。

13 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 我 必 毁 灭 偶 像 ， 从 挪 弗 除 灭 神 像 ； 必 不 再 有 君 王 出 自 埃 及 地 。 我 要 使 埃 及 地 的 人 惧 怕 。

14 我 必 使 巴 忒 罗 荒 凉 ， 在 琐 安 中 使 火 着 起 ， 向 挪 施 行 审 判 。

15 我 必 将 我 的 忿 怒 倒 在 埃 及 的 保 障 上 ， 就 是 训 上 ， 并 要 剪 除 挪 的 众 人 。

16 我 必 在 埃 及 中 使 火 着 起 ； 训 必 大 大 痛 苦 ； 挪 必 被 攻 破 ； 挪 弗 白 日 （ 或 译 ： 终 日 ） 见 仇 敌 。

17 亚 文 和 比 伯 实 的 少 年 人 必 倒 在 刀 下 ； 这 些 城 的 人 必 被 掳 掠 。

18 我 在 答 比 匿 折 断 埃 及 的 诸 轭 ， 使 他 因 势 力 而 有 的 骄 傲 在 其 中 止 息 。 那 时 ， 日 光 必 退 去 ； 至 於 这 城 ， 必 有 密 云 遮 蔽 ， 其 中 的 女 子 必 被 掳 掠 。

19 我 必 这 样 向 埃 及 施 行 审 判 ， 他 们 就 知 道 我 是 耶 和 华 。

20 十 一 年 正 月 初 七 日 ， 耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 我 说 ：

21 人 子 啊 ， 我 已 打 折 埃 及 王 法 老 的 膀 臂 ； 没 有 敷 药 ， 也 没 有 用 布 缠 好 ， 使 他 有 力 持 刀 。

22 所 以 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 看 哪 ， 我 与 埃 及 王 法 老 为 敌 ， 必 将 他 有 力 的 膀 臂 和 已 打 折 的 膀 臂 全 行 打 断 ， 使 刀 从 他 手 中 坠 落 。

23 我 必 将 埃 及 人 分 散 在 列 国 ， 四 散 在 列 邦 。

24 我 必 使 巴 比 伦 王 的 膀 臂 有 力 ， 将 我 的 刀 交 在 他 手 中 ； 却 要 打 断 法 老 的 膀 臂 ， 他 就 在 巴 比 伦 王 面 前 唉 哼 ， 如 同 受 死 伤 的 人 一 样 。

25 我 必 扶 持 巴 比 伦 王 的 膀 臂 ， 法 老 的 膀 臂 却 要 下 垂 ； 我 将 我 的 刀 交 在 巴 比 伦 王 手 中 ， 他 必 举 刀 攻 击 埃 及 地 ， 他 们 就 知 道 我 是 耶 和 华 。

26 我 必 将 埃 及 人 分 散 在 列 国 ， 四 散 在 列 邦 ； 他 们 就 知 道 我 是 耶 和 华 。

Chapter 30

A prophecy against Egypt. (1-19) Another. (20-26)

Verses 1-19 The prophecy of the destruction of Egypt is very full. Those who take their lot with God's enemies, shall be with them in punishment. The king of Babylon and his army shall be instruments of this destruction. God often makes one wicked man a scourge to another. No place in the land of Egypt shall escape the fury of the Chaldeans. The Lord is known by the judgments he executes. Yet these are only present effects of the Divine displeasure, not worthy of our fear, compared with the wrath to come, from which Jesus delivers his people.

Verses 20-26 Egypt shall grow weaker and weaker. If lesser judgments do not prevail to humble and reform sinners, God will send greater. God justly breaks that power which is abused, either to put wrongs upon people, or to put cheats upon them. Babylon shall grow stronger. In vain do men endeavour to bind up the arm the Lord is pleased to break, and to strengthen those whom he will bring down. Those who disregard the discoveries of his truth and mercy, shall know his power and justice, in the punishment for their sins.

Chapter Summary

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 30

This chapter is a continuation of the prophecy against Egypt, both against the country and the king of it. It is introduced with expressions of lamentation, because of the destruction coming on, Eze 30:1-3, and not only Egypt, and the cities thereof, should be destroyed, but all her friends, associates, and allies; the Ethiopians, Lydians, Lybians, and others, Eze 30:4-9. Nebuchadnezzar and his army were to be the instruments of her ruin, Eze 30:10-12, particular cities are mentioned by name, which should suffer much, and become desolate, Eze 30:13-19 and then Pharaoh king of Egypt himself is threatened with broken arms, and his people to be scattered among the nations, Eze 30:20-23, and the king of Babylon is again mentioned, whose arms should be strengthened to do all this, Eze 30:24-26.
