约书亚记 7:12

12 因 此 ， 以 色 列 人 在 仇 敌 面 前 站 立 不 住 。 他 们 在 仇 敌 面 前 转 背 逃 跑 ， 是 因 成 了 被 咒 诅 的 ； 你 们 若 不 把 当 灭 的 物 从 你 们 中 间 除 掉 ， 我 就 不 再 与 你 们 同 在 了 。

Joshua 7:12

Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their
enemies
Being forsaken of God for the sin committed among them:

[but] turned [their] backs before their enemies:
had not courage to face them, but fled as soon as they appeared:

because they were accursed;
of God for the accursed thing that had been taken, as was threatened would be their case, should they take any of it; ( Joshua 6:18 ) ;

neither will I be with you any more, until ye take away the accursed
thing from among you;
that is, until they had put to death the person who had taken of the accursed thing, and made himself thereby accursed, and even all the camp of Israel; till this was done, the Lord would not be with them to protect and defend them, and give them success against their enemies.

10 耶 和 华 吩 咐 约 书 亚 说 ： 起 来 ！ 你 为 何 这 样 俯 伏 在 地 呢 ？

11 以 色 列 人 犯 了 罪 ， 违 背 了 我 所 吩 咐 他 们 的 约 ， 取 了 当 灭 的 物 ； 又 偷 窃 ， 又 行 诡 诈 ， 又 把 那 当 灭 的 放 在 他 们 的 家 具 里 。

12 因 此 ， 以 色 列 人 在 仇 敌 面 前 站 立 不 住 。 他 们 在 仇 敌 面 前 转 背 逃 跑 ， 是 因 成 了 被 咒 诅 的 ； 你 们 若 不 把 当 灭 的 物 从 你 们 中 间 除 掉 ， 我 就 不 再 与 你 们 同 在 了 。

13 你 起 来 ， 叫 百 姓 自 洁 ， 对 他 们 说 ： 你 们 要 自 洁 ， 预 备 明 天 ， 因 为 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 这 样 说 ： 以 色 列 阿 ， 你 们 中 间 有 当 灭 的 物 ， 你 们 若 不 除 掉 ， 在 仇 敌 面 前 必 站 立 不 住 ！

14 到 了 早 晨 ， 你 们 要 按 着 支 派 近 前 来 ； 耶 和 华 所 取 的 支 派 ， 要 按 着 宗 族 近 前 来 ； 耶 和 华 所 取 的 宗 族 ， 要 按 着 家 室 近 前 来 ； 耶 和 华 所 取 的 家 室 ， 要 按 着 人 丁 ， 一 个 一 个 的 近 前 来 。
