4 吩 咐 他 们 说 ： 你 们 要 在 城 後 埋 伏 ， 不 可 离 城 太 远 ， 都 要 各 自 准 备 。

Joshua 8:4

And he commanded them, saying
At the time he sent them away;

behold, ye shall lie in wait against the city, [even] behind the city;
that is, on the west side of it, ( Joshua 8:9 ) ;

go not very far from the city, but be ye all ready;
to enter into it, as soon as the forces are drawn out eastward to meet the army of Israel.

6 他 们 必 出 来 追 赶 我 们 ， 直 到 我 们 引 诱 他 们 离 开 城 ； 因 为 他 们 必 说 ： 这 些 人 像 初 次 在 我 们 面 前 逃 跑 。 所 以 我 们 要 在 他 们 面 前 逃 跑 ，
