Ezekiel 10:10

10 And as for their appearance, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.

Ezekiel 10:10 Meaning and Commentary

Ezekiel 10:10

And [as for] their appearances, they four had one likeness,
&c.] They were exactly like one another; they were all composed of the same matter, had all the colour of a beryl stone, were all in the same form of a wheel; and in matter, form, and shape, entirely tallied and agreed one with another, as true Gospel churches do: (See Gill on Ezekiel 1:16); as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel:
not included in one another, but were formed in a cross or transverse way; (See Gill on Ezekiel 1:16).

Ezekiel 10:10 In-Context

8 And there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings.
9 And I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub, and another wheel beside another cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was as the look of a chrysolite stone.
10 And as for their appearance, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.
11 When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it: they turned not as they went.
12 And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels were full of eyes round about, in them four [and] their wheels.
