John 6:18

And the sea arose
Swelled, and was tumultuous and raging; the waves mounted up, and tossed the ship to and fro:

by reason of a great wind that blew;
which agitated the waters of the sea, and lifted up the waves; which storm seems to have arose after they had set sail, and were got into the midst of the sea.

16 Als es aber Abend geworden war, gingen seine Jünger hinab an den See;

17 und sie stiegen in das Schiff und fuhren über den See nach Kapernaum. Und es war schon finster geworden, und Jesus war noch nicht zu ihnen gekommen;

18 und der See erhob sich, indem ein starker Wind wehte.

19 Als sie nun etwa fünfundzwanzig oder dreißig Stadien gerudert waren, sehen sie Jesum auf dem See wandeln und nahe an das Schiff herankommen, und sie fürchteten sich.

20 Er aber spricht zu ihnen: Ich bin's, fürchtet euch nicht!
