Luke 18:42

And Jesus said unto him, receive thy sight
Be it to thee as thou desirest, look up and see: thus by a word speaking, and power going along with it, without making use of any means, he fulfilled his desire.

Thy faith hath saved thee;
or has obtained salvation for thee, a temporal salvation; and it may be also a spiritual and an eternal one: for that is the concern faith has in salvation; it is the means of obtaining and enjoying it: Christ, the object of faith, is the author of it.

40 Jesus aber stand still und hieß ihn zu sich führen. Als er sich aber näherte, fragte er ihn und sprach :

41 Was willst du, daß ich dir tun soll? Er aber sprach: Herr, daß ich sehend werde!

42 Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: Sei sehend! Dein Glaube hat dich geheilt.

43 Und alsbald ward er sehend und folgte ihm nach, indem er Gott verherrlichte. Und das ganze Volk, das es sah, gab Gott Lob.
