Mark 10:3

And he answered and said unto them
Very prudently and wisely,

what did Moses command you?
according to Matthew, he put another question to them; see ( Matthew 19:4 ) ; no doubt but both were put, and this after they had urged the authority and law of Moses: and therefore be very pertinently asks them, what Moses had said about divorces, what law he had left; and puts them upon producing and repeating it, that the sense of it might be examined, and it be considered, upon what account it was given.

1 Und er stand auf von dannen und kommt in das Gebiet von Judäa und von jenseit des Jordan. Und wiederum kommen Volksmengen zu ihm zusammen, und wie er gewohnt war, lehrte er sie wiederum.

2 Und es traten Pharisäer herzu und fragten ihn: Ist es einem Manne erlaubt, sein Weib zu entlassen? indem sie ihn versuchten.

3 Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Was hat euch Moses geboten?

4 Sie aber sagten: Moses hat gestattet, einen Scheidebrief zu schreiben und zu entlassen.

5 Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Wegen eurer Herzenshärtigkeit hat er euch dieses Gebot geschrieben;
