Matthew 21:11

And the multitude said
Or the people, as the Vulgate Latin, and Munster's Hebrew Gospel read; the common people, that went before, and followed after him: these knew Christ better than the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Scribes and Pharisees, and rulers of the people.

This is Jesus the prophet:
that prophet Moses spoke of, in ( Deuteronomy 18:15 ) and the nation of the Jews in general expected:

of Nazareth of Galilee;
who, though he was not born there, yet being educated, and having lived much in that place, is said to be of it; and which was the common opinion of the people.

9 Die Volksmengen aber, welche vor ihm hergingen und nachfolgten, riefen und sprachen: Hosanna dem Sohne Davids! Gepriesen sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn! Hosanna in der Höhe!

10 Und als er in Jerusalem einzog, kam die ganze Stadt in Bewegung und sprach: Wer ist dieser?

11 Die Volksmengen aber sagten: Dieser ist Jesus, der Prophet, der von Nazareth in Galiläa.

12 Und Jesus trat in den Tempel Gottes ein und trieb alle hinaus, die im Tempel verkauften, und kauften, und die Tische der Wechsler und die Sitze der Taubenverkäufer stieß er um.

13 Und er spricht zu ihnen: Es steht geschrieben: "Mein Haus wird ein Bethaus genannt werden"; "ihr aber habt es zu einer Räuberhöhle gemacht".
