John 17:17-23

17 ¹Sanctify them^[a] in the truth; ²your word is truth.

18 ³As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.

19 And ⁴for their sake ⁵I consecrate myself,^[b] that they also ⁶may be sanctified^[c] in truth.

20 "I do not ⁷ask for these only, but also for those ⁸who will believe in me through their word,

21 ⁹that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that ¹⁰they also may be in ¹¹us, so that the world ¹²may believe that you have sent me.

22 ¹³The glory that you have given me ¹⁴I have given to them, ¹⁵that they may be one even as we are one,

23 ¹⁶I in them and you in me, ¹⁷that they may become perfectly one, ¹⁸so that the world may know that you sent me and ¹⁹loved them even as ²⁰you loved me.
