21 E il giorno seguente sacrificò sacrificii al Signore, e gli offerse olocausti: mille giovenchi, mille montoni, mille agnelli, insieme con le loro offerte da spandere; e de’ sacrificii in gran numero per tutto Israele.

1 Chronicles 29:21

And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the Lord
David and the congregation:

and offered burnt offerings unto the Lord on the morrow after that day;
not having time enough on that day to perform, at least not all of them; and these they offered on the altar David had erected in the threshingfloor of Araunah, by the order of God, where afterwards the temple was built:

[even] a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with
their burnt offerings;
and meat offerings also, both which always went along with them:

and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel;
whom they represented; these last were peace offerings, part of which the offerers had for themselves and friends to feast on, as these did, as follows.

19 Ed a Salomone, mio figliuolo, da’ un cuore intiero, per osservare i tuoi comandamenti, le tue testimonianze, ed i tuoi statuti, e per mettere il tutto in opera, e per edificare il palazzo, del quale io ho fatto l’apparecchio.
20 Poi Davide disse a tutta la raunanza: Or benedite il Signore Iddio vostro. E tutta la raunanza benedisse il Signore Iddio de’ suoi padri, e s’inchinò, e adorò il Signore, e fece riverenza al re.
21 E il giorno seguente sacrificò sacrificii al Signore, e gli offerse olocausti: mille giovenchi, mille montoni, mille agnelli, insieme con le loro offerte da spandere; e de’ sacrificii in gran numero per tutto Israele.
22 E mangiarono, e bevvero in quel dì, nel cospetto del Signore, con grande allegrezza; e di nuovo costituirono re Salomone, figliuolo di Davide, e l’unsero al Signore per conduttore, e Sadoc per sacerdote.
23 E Salomone sedette sopra il trono del Signore, per esser re, in luogo di Davide, suo padre, e prosperò, e tutto Israele gli ubbidì.
