1 Chronicles 4:8

And Coz
Another son of Helah, and brother of the before mentioned:

begat Anub, and Zobebah;
of whom we nowhere else read:

and the families of Aharhel, the son of Harum;
these were of the posterity of Coz; the Targum is,

``and the family of Aharhel, this is Hur, the firstborn of Miriam;''

which is not at all probable.

8 e Cos, il quale generò Anub, e Sobeba, e le famiglie di Aharhel, figliuolo di Harum.

9 E Iabes fu il più onorato de’ suoi fratelli; or sua madre gli pose nome Iabes, perciocchè disse: Io l’ho partorito con dolore.

10 Or Iabes invocò l’Iddio d’Israele, dicendo: Oh! se pur mi benedicessi, ed allargassi i miei confini, e fosse la tua mano meco, e facessi che io non fossi afflitto d’alcun male! E Iddio fece avvenire ciò ch’egli avea chiesto.
