24 Perciocchè Ezechia, re di Giuda, presentò alla raunanza mille giovenchi, e settemila pecore; i principali presentarono anch’essi alla raunanza mille giovenchi, e diecimila pecore; e molti sacerdoti si erano santificati.

2 Chronicles 30:24

For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation one
thousand bullocks, and seven thousand sheep
He separated them, as Kimchi interprets it, from his own herds and flocks; or out of his own substance, at his own expense purchased them; or lifted them up, as the word signifies, as heave offerings to the Lord; and gave them to the people for thank offerings to feast upon:

and the princes gave to the congregation one thousand bullocks, and ten
thousand sheep:
for the same purposes, following the king's example:

and a great number of priests sanctified themselves;
besides those who had before, that they might be fit to offer this great number of sacrifices.

22 Ed Ezechia parlò affettuosamente a tutti i Leviti ch’erano bene intendenti nelle cose del servigio del Signore; ed essi mangiarono de’ sacrificii della festa, sette giorni, sacrificando sacrificii da render grazie, e celebrando il Signore Iddio de’ lor padri.
23 E tutta la raunanza prese consiglio di celebrare altri sette giorni; ed essi li celebrarono con allegrezza.
24 Perciocchè Ezechia, re di Giuda, presentò alla raunanza mille giovenchi, e settemila pecore; i principali presentarono anch’essi alla raunanza mille giovenchi, e diecimila pecore; e molti sacerdoti si erano santificati.
25 E tutta la raunanza di Giuda si rallegrò, come anche i sacerdoti, ed i Leviti, e tutta la raunanza di coloro ch’erano venuti d’Israele, e gli avveniticci ch’erano venuti dal paese d’Israele, ed abitavano in Giuda.
26 E vi fu grande allegrezza in Gerusalemme; perciocchè, dal tempo di Salomone, figliuolo di Davide, re d’Israele, non era avvenuta cosa tale in Gerusalemme.
