26 Achazia era d’età di ventidue anni, quando cominciò a regnare; e regnò un anno in Gerusalemme. E il nome di sua madre era Atalia, figliuola di Omri, re d’Israele.

2 Kings 8:26

Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign,
&c.] In ( 2 Chronicles 22:2 ) he is said to be forty two years of age; for the solution of that difficulty (See Gill on 2 Chronicles 22:2):

and he reigned one year in Jerusalem;
which was the whole of his reign:

and his mother's name was Athaliah the daughter of Omri king of Israel;
that is, his granddaughter; for she was the daughter of Ahab the son of Omri, ( 2 Kings 8:18 ) , it was usual for grandchildren to be called children, sons and daughters, and perhaps she might be educated in the family of Omri.

24 E Gioram giacque co’ suoi padri, e fu seppellito co’ suoi padri nella Città di Davide. E Achazia, suo figliuolo, regnò in luogo suo.
25 L’anno duodecimo di Gioram, figliuolo di Achab, re d’Israele, Achazia, figliuolo di Gioram, re di Giuda, cominciò a regnare.
26 Achazia era d’età di ventidue anni, quando cominciò a regnare; e regnò un anno in Gerusalemme. E il nome di sua madre era Atalia, figliuola di Omri, re d’Israele.
27 Ed egli camminò per la via della casa di Achab, e fece quello che dispiace al Signore, come la casa di Achab; perciocchè egli era genero della casa di Achab.
28 Ed egli andò con Gioram, figliuolo di Achab, alla guerra contro ad Hazael, re di Siria, in Ramot di Galaad; ed i Siri ferirono Gioram.
