Acts 11:27

And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem to
Antioch.
], That is, some time in that year that Saul and Barnabas were at Antioch, there came from Jerusalem thither some Christian prophets; for such there were in the Christian church, who had not only a gift of expounding the more mysterious prophecies of the Old Testament, but also of foretelling things to come; see ( Acts 13:1 ) ( Ephesians 4:11 ) .

25 Poi Barnaba si partì, per andare in Tarso, a ricercar Saulo; ed avendolo trovato, lo menò in Antiochia.
26 Ed avvenne che per lo spazio di un anno intiero, essi si raunarono nella chiesa, ed ammaestrarono un gran popolo; e i discepoli primieramente in Antiochia furono nominati Cristiani.
27 Or in que’ giorni certi profeti scesero di Gerusalemme in Antiochia.
28 E un di loro, chiamato per nome Agabo, levatosi, significò per lo Spirito che una gran fame sarebbe in tutto il mondo; la quale ancora avvenne sotto Claudio Cesare.
29 Laonde i discepoli, ciascuno secondo le sue facoltà, determinarono di mandar a fare una sovvenzione a’ fratelli che abitavano nella Giudea;
