Luke 15:3

And he spake this parable unto them
To the Pharisees, for their conviction and confutation; and to the publicans and sinners for their encouragement; and in vindication of himself; and not only this, but the other two, concerning the lost piece of money, and the prodigal son, which were said at this time, and on the same occasion;

saying,
as follows.

2 Ed i Farisei e gli Scribi ne mormoravano, dicendo: Costui accoglie i peccatori, e mangia con loro.
3 Ed egli disse loro questa parabola.
4 Chi è l’uomo d’infra voi, il quale, avendo cento pecore, se ne perde una, non lasci le novantanove nel deserto, e non vada dietro alla perduta, finchè l’abbia trovata?
5 Ed avendola trovata, non se la metta sopra le spalle tutto allegro?
