46 POI vennero in Gerico; e come egli usciva di Gerico, co’ suoi discepoli, e gran moltitudine, un certo figliuol di Timeo, Bartimeo il cieco, sedeva presso della strada, mendicando.

Mark 10:46

And they came to Jericho
Christ and his disciples, from the coasts of Judea, beyond Jordan, in their way to Jerusalem; where Christ met with Zaccheus and converted him, and after some short stay at his house, departed thence;

and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples, and a great number
of people:
which followed him out of that city, to go with him to Jerusalem, being but ten miles off:

blind Bartimeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging;
who was one of the two blind men Matthew makes mention of it, (See Gill on Matthew 20:30).

45 Poichè anche il Figliuol dell’uomo non è venuto per esser servito; anzi per servire, e per dar l’anima sua per prezzo di riscatto per molti.
46 POI vennero in Gerico; e come egli usciva di Gerico, co’ suoi discepoli, e gran moltitudine, un certo figliuol di Timeo, Bartimeo il cieco, sedeva presso della strada, mendicando.
47 Ed avendo udito che colui che passava era Gesù il Nazareno, prese a gridare, e a dire: Gesù, Figliuol di Davide, abbi pietà di me!
48 E molti lo sgridavano, acciocchè tacesse; ma egli vie più gridava: Figliuol di Davide, abbi pietà di me!
