Mark 8:8

So they did eat, and were filled
Christ and his disciples, and the whole multitude: they not only had some, but they had all enough, a full meal. It was surprising that it could be divided so, is that every one should have a bit; but that they should all be satisfied to the full, is amazing:

and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets;
as many as there were loaves; (See Gill on Matthew 15:37).

6 Ed egli ordinò alla moltitudine che si coricasse in terra; e presi i sette pani, e rese grazie, li ruppe, e li diede a’ suoi discepoli, acciocchè li ponessero dinanzi alla moltitudine; ed essi glieli posero dinanzi.

7 Aveano ancora alcuni pochi pescetti; ed avendo fatta la benedizione, comandò di porre, quelli ancora dinanzi a loro.

8 Ed essi mangiarono, e furon saziati; e i discepoli levarono degli avanzi de’ pezzi sette panieri;

9 or que’ che aveano mangiato erano intorno a quattromila, poi li licenziò.
