Proverbi 2:15

15 I quali son torti nelle lor vie, E traviati ne’ lor sentieri.

Proverbi 2:15 Meaning and Commentary

Proverbs 2:15

Whose ways [are] crooked
Which swerve from and are not agreeably to the rule of the divine word, either the law of God or the Gospel of Christ; sin is an aberration, a straying from the rule of God's word, a transgression of his law; and a walk in it is unbecoming the Gospel of Christ; it has many serpentine windings and turnings in it; full of distortions and excursions, and many retrograde actions; see ( Psalms 125:5 ) ( Isaiah 59:8 ) ; and [they] froward in their paths;
declining here and there, sometimes going one way and sometimes another, but always following that which is evil, and resolute to continue therein.

Proverbi 2:15 In-Context

13 I quali lasciano i sentieri della dirittura, Per camminar per le vie delle tenebre;
14 I quali si rallegrano di far male, E festeggiano nelle perversità di malizia;
15 I quali son torti nelle lor vie, E traviati ne’ lor sentieri.
16 Per iscamparti ancora dalla donna straniera; Dalla forestiera che parla vezzosamente;
17 La quale ha abbandonato il conduttor della sua giovanezza, Ed ha dimenticato il patto del suo Dio.
