Psalms 50:20

Thou sittest
Either in the chair of Moses, or on the seat of judgment, in the great sanhedrim of the nation; or, as Aben Ezra paraphrases it, "in the seat of the scornful";

[and] speakest against thy brother;
even to pass sentence upon him, to put him to death for professing faith in Christ, ( Matthew 10:21 ) ;

thou slanderest thine own mother's son;
the apostles and disciples of Christ, who were their brethren and kinsmen according to the flesh; and even our Lord Jesus Christ himself, who was bone of their bone, and flesh of their flesh.

18 Se tu vedi un ladro, tu prendi piacere d’essere in sua compagnia; E la tua parte è con gli adulteri.
19 Tu metti la tua bocca al male, E la tua lingua congegna frode.
20 Tu siedi, e parli contro al tuo fratello, E metti biasimo sopra il figliuol di tua madre.
21 Tu hai fatte queste cose, ed io mi sono taciuto; E tu hai pensato, che del tutto io era simile a te. Io ti arguirò, e te le spiegherò in su gli occhi.
22 Deh! intendete questo, voi che dimenticate Iddio; Che talora io non rapisca, e non vi sia alcuno che riscuota.
