3 Poi il Signore uscirà, e combatterà contro alle nazioni, come nel giorno che egli combattè, nel giorno della battaglia.

Zechariah 14:3

Then shall the Lord go forth
Out of his place in heaven, either in person, or by the display of his power; that is, the Lord Jesus Christ; whose name is called the Word of God, and is the King of kings, and Lord of lords, described as a mighty warrior, ( Revelation 19:11 ) : and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of
battle:
the Targum adds, "at the Red Sea"; when the Lord fought for, Israel against the Egyptians, ( Exodus 14:25 ) and afterwards against the Canaanites, when they entered the land of Canaan under Joshua: thus Christ shall judge, and make war in righteousness, and overcome those that shall make war with him; and with the sharp sword that goeth out of his mouth shall smite nations, and with a rod of iron rule them, and break them to shivers, ( Revelation 14:14 ) ( Revelation 19:11 Revelation 19:15 ) ( 2:27 ) see also ( Ezekiel 38:21 Ezekiel 38:22 ) ( Ezekiel 39:1 Ezekiel 39:8 Ezekiel 39:4 ) .

Zaccaria 14:3 In-Context

1 Ecco, un giorno viene, mandato dal Signore, nel quale le tue spoglie saranno spartite nel mezzo di te, o Gerusalemme.

2 Ed io adunerò tutte le nazioni contro a Gerusalemme in battaglia, e la città sarà presa, e le case saranno predate, e le donne sforzate; e la metà della città andrà in cattività; ma il rimanente del popolo non sarà sterminato dalla città.

3 Poi il Signore uscirà, e combatterà contro alle nazioni, come nel giorno che egli combattè, nel giorno della battaglia.

4 E i suoi piedi si fermeranno in quel giorno sopra il monte degli Ulivi, che è dirincontro a Gerusalemme, dal Levante; e il monte degli Ulivi sarà fesso per la metà, dal Levante al Ponente; e vi si farà una grandissima valle; e la metà del monte si ritrarrà verso il Settentrione, e l’altra sua metà verso il Mezzodì.

5 E voi fuggirete nella valle de’ miei monti; perciocchè la valle di que’ monti giungerà fino ad Asal; e fuggirete come fuggiste per lo tremoto a’ dì di Uzzia, re di Giuda; e il Signore Iddio mio verrà; e tutti i santi saranno teco.
